Hon. Taiwo Ibironke is back and the Future is...

Sometimes, the journey forward… requires returning to where your values truly belong.

I, Taiwo Ibironke, have officially left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and returned to the African Action Congress; a party built on courage, accountability, and the voice of the people. This is not just a political move… it is a homecoming.

My time in the PDP was one of service, exposure, and meaningful engagement. I remain grateful for the platform and the individuals who made that journey worthwhile.

However, over time, it became necessary to reflect on the direction of our politics and the kind of structure required to truly serve the people. Like many well-meaning members, I observed growing internal divisions, recurring leadership uncertainties, and a gradual disconnect from the grassroots that should be the foundation of any people-centered party. These realities, though not insurmountable, made it increasingly difficult to pursue the level of impact and accountability I believe our people deserve. Leadership, for me, is not just about participation; it is about purpose. And when purpose begins to seek clearer alignment, one must be honest enough to answer that call.

From empowering communities… To championing clean water projects… To standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the people during critical moments… My mission has always been clear; impact over promises.

Now, the future calls for something bolder… something more intentional… something truly people-driven. And that future is AAC.

A renewed vision. A stronger voice. A deeper commitment to YOU.

This is not a step back… This is a necessary alignment. This is a leap forward.

Taiwo Ibironke is back… and the Mission Continues.
